This Day in History By Doug Miller
Thanksgiving Day1969, found Delta Company at Fire Base Kien.
We used the time during the day for resupply and preparing our gear for the next mission. At night we pulled perimeter security.
We were fortunate to have a hot Thanksgiving Day meal in a secure location.

This was the only holiday that we were not in the field.
