Rain Does Very Little to Wash Away Bird Crap

Rain Does Very Little to Wash Away Bird Crap

Ashland County Common Pleas Court, at 142 W. 2nd Street has a problem. It seems the crows have taken it upon themselves to crap all over the Courthouse and also the statues on the Courthouse lawn.

Residents, and those visiting the courthouse, who have walked through the crap, and are afraid to touch the rails, have stressed this in messages to Ashland County Pictures.

“Has Ashland gone to the birds?” one message asked.

“We are tired of this crap!” another message said.

“Crap is everywhere!” another message said.

One comment I received today asked, “Why can’t they have the probationers and people ordered to community service clean it up?!”

This evening, I have sent emails to the following Ashland County Commissioners: Denny Bittle, James Justice, and Michael Welch. I will do a follow up with their responses.

Anyone have an idea how to keep the crows away?

Why did they start hanging out at the Courthouse?

If anyone has any information leading to the case of the crapping crows, please feel free to post your comments below.
