State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) participated in the White House State Leadership Conference last week, joining over 50 lawmakers and officials from Ohio. The event was hosted by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and aimed to promote cooperation among federal, state, and local governments.
During the conference, attendees discussed policy priorities and potential solutions to issues affecting communities across the United States. Rep. Miller met with senior members of the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to address Ohio’s specific needs and explore areas for partnership.
“It was an honor to represent Ohio at the White House and to have meaningful conversations about how federal and state leaders can work together to better serve our communities,” said Miller. “I look forward to bringing these insights back to the 67th House District and continuing to advocate for policies that strengthen families, grow our economy, and improve the quality of life for all Ohioans.”
