State Senator Mark Romanchuk has announced that Madison Water District in Richland County will receive $378,500. This funding is aimed at connecting 200 township residents and 10 businesses to a reliable public drinking water system.

"Clean and safe water is essential for our residents' health and for our businesses to grow and succeed," stated Romanchuk. "These funds will be a welcome help to Madison Township."

The funds are part of the sixth round of the H2Ohio program, a statewide initiative focused on improving water quality. Supported by both the Governor and Ohio General Assembly, this round will fund 13 water infrastructure projects across Ohio.
