On Saturday, February 24, former Mount Pleasant Area High School standout Sophia Smithnosky’s current college team, the Ashland Eagles, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division II game against the Drury Panthers.

The game took place in Evansville, Indiana. This was their first matchup against the Drury Panthers this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. in Clermont, Florida against Charleston Golden Eagles.
