On Saturday, February 24, former Mount Pleasant Area High School standout Sophia Smithnosky’s current college team, the Ashland Eagles, lost 10-2 in their NCAA Division II game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place in Evansville, Indiana. This was their second matchup against the UIS Prairie Stars this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 12 p.m. in Evansville, Indiana against Drury Panthers.
