February 16, 2023 post.

What to expect:

The severe weather threat has further decreased today. A Marginal Risk for severe weather now covers the entire region except for extreme NW Ohio. We still expect a line of showers and embedded thunderstorms to cross the region late this afternoon and evening. Pockets of damaging winds are the main threat, especially over the southern counties from roughly Canton to Marion. The most likely timing is 5 PM to 9 PM, but there is still uncertainty with the possibility that the showers and storms will hold off until after 7 PM.  Please still remain weather aware today.

What has changed:

The Slight Risk for severe weather has been downgraded to a Marginal Risk.
