Patrol Officers Adam Srnis and Alan Swaggard were recently acknowledged for their exemplary work and awarded a Letter of Commendation for their efforts.
Officer Srnis was recognized for initiating a number of traffic stops in early October that resulted in the seizure of a variety of illegal narcotics, the issuance of twelve traffic citations, an OVI arrest, and two warrant arrests.
Officer Swaggard was recognized for his work during the METRICH drug enforcement traffic detail in late October. Over the course of two days, he recovered a variety of illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and two firearms.
These are small samples of the work that the personnel of the Ashland Police Division do daily to make our community a safe place to live and work. Please join us in congratulating these two officers for their dedication and attentiveness to their duties.
