Residents may have noticed a large police presence in the Hillcrest Drive/Pheasant Run area. We investigated a reported burglary overnight and the three suspects involved were all taken into custody. We are currently searching for evidence related to the incident. Specifically, there is believed to be a shotgun hidden in this area. The shotgun may be broken down into pieces. If a homeowner were to find a weapon, or any suspicious parts, do not touch it and contact our office immediately at 419-289-1911 to report it.
We will continue to stay on scene until we have exhausted the resources at our disposal in an attempt to locate the firearm. We appreciate the cooperation of the residents in this area as we work to locate the evidence.
