Spring Fishing Challenge Get Hooked*
You are invited to fish the ponds at your beautiful parks! It’s fun and free! Just fish at four of the listed ponds (on your own) between April 1st and June 30th and receive a prize! Participants must fill out the form on the park website at www.ashlandcountyparks.com and mail it into the office or hand deliver it.
Details:
All fishing ponds are CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY please. A fishing license is not required for any of the listed ponds. Licenses are required for fishing at spots that have river access.
Each member of the family can earn a prize for completing 4 fishing spots (while supplies last). One prize per person. This program is open to all ages.
Locations:
Byers Woods - 4 ponds
Cooke Park** - 1 pond
Cool Springs* - 3 ponds
Sauers Farm - 1 pond
Hurdle Park - 1 pond
Tom Kruse Park - 1 pond
River Walk - river access (fishing license required)
