Ashland University issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery has established “Art Saturdays,” an educational and creative experience for children. The first “Art Saturdays” of the year will be a class, titled “Under the Sea,” on March 26 from 10 a.m.-noon.
“Under the Sea” will guide children through a variety of sea-themed art activities. The class is for children ages 6-10 years old with a $10.00 art fee per child. All supplies are included and class sizes are limited. Pre-registration is required. All proceeds benefit the Ashland Cat House.
Classes are located in room 346 of the Center for the Arts on the Ashland University campus. For more information or to register your child for classes, contact the Coburn Gallery at cpetry@ashland.edu.
