Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Congratulations to Connor Harper and Jacob Pagan, seniors in the Mechanical Engineering (Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing) program who were chosen to be in the Schaeffler Pre-Apprenticeship Program. Connor is pursuing the Tool & Die pathway, leading to a CNC Planner, Industrial Designer or a Tool & Die Maker. Jacob is already on the Electrical path. Both Connor and Jacob are currently in the program and will be full-time apprentices following graduation.
The Schaeffler Pre-Apprentice program selects 12 students each year, leading them directly to one of their 67 full-time apprenticeships.
Schaeffler representatives, Joe Pajak-Stenger, Electrical Apprenticeships is with Jacob, and Tommy Guidetti, Die & Tool Apprenticeships is with Connor.
