68 percent of applicants to Ashland University were admitted for fall 2018

At Ashland University, 61 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Ashland enrolled 6,627 students in fall 2018, including 5,020 in undergraduate and 1,607 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

88 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 9 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (69 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 4,656 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
